Tim Lin, PT
Tim received his Master of Physical Therapy Degree in 2017 from Queen’s University after completing his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Waterloo in 2011. After graduation, Tim has practiced extensively in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
As a physiotherapist, Tim focuses on taking detailed assessments, which he uses as a basis for formulating the optimal treatment plans for his patients using a holistic approach.
Tim utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques including hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, taping, and modalities in conjunction with active patient participation and education to achieve the maximal recovery outcomes for his patients. As an expert in health and rehabilitation, Tim truly believes in empowering his patients in their own recovery process.
Tim’s passion for physiotherapy drives him to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research evidence. He has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as neurological and geriatric conditions.
Tim has taken courses in traditional Chinese acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation (IMS) or trigger point dry needling, Mulligans Mobilization with Movement, Functional Range Release, functional strength and conditioning, and vestibular rehabilitation. He has plans to undertake training for concussion rehabilitation.
On his spare time, Tim is an avid billiards player, and enjoys going on hikes, cycling, and playing Ultimate Frisbee with his friends and family.
